This is my song Shine. I featured both Lydon Keith and Zay Glenn as artists on the song and they did a fantastic job on their verses and in their parts in the video, we just thought we were having a good time. Not too long after shooting this video I ended up doing some time in jail and had to be in there for 11 months before I got released on probation… in jail Zay’s father was one of the guards in my module, and he showed the video to everyone I was in jail with in the module, and key people in there had my back, and because of that I got to get up in front of the module and rap the song Elohim, Yeshua, and more… and I got to read from the book of Lamentations and Jonah to a full module of 70+ men headed to trial or doing their time in OCCC… I got to write more and more songs and books which I featured on this website and songs I wrote which I just recently performed at Tracks Beach with our new band Highway. God always has a plan.

Here’s the Behind the Scenes Making of the Video:

Some shots are from Japan, others from Honolulu, and the song is about shining no matter where you are in life and having a positive attitude… knowing your worth and purpose and going for your destiny. I originally shot some of the scenes at another place but ended up having to delete the footage. I had all sorts of people featured in the footage at the other place, a lot of other artists and friends that never made it into the final video.
